Japan Operations
From August 2023, I spent about a year living in the Bay Area while accompanying my husband during his MBA studies at Stanford Graduate School of Business. I have since returned to Tokyo, where I now live with my two children.
In Japan, I’ve worked in the finance industry in roles ranging from sales and product structuring to bond trading. During our time abroad, I took a break from work, which gave me space to reflect on my career. I'm now back at work and once again involved in trading operations. My hobbies include playing the violin with my daughter and reading.
At the beginning of our overseas life, I often felt uneasy—as though my career had been put on pause. But my encounter with JWIBA gave me the encouragement I needed to start thinking positively again.
I’m passionate about creating a society where women can build careers in a way that feels true to themselves—without pressure or compromise. I hope to serve as a bridge between Japan and the Bay Area, cherishing the connections and experiences I’ve gained. I would be grateful to walk alongside others navigating their career journeys and help spark positive change together.
I truly resonate with JWIBA’s mission and hope to contribute in any way I can.
