Project Manager, Event
I moved to the U.S. through my husband’s overseas assignment.
In Japan, I worked in R&D at a manufacturing company before transitioning to the intellectual property department, where I supported various IP initiatives. Currently, I support a Japanese startup remotely. On weekends, I enjoy exploring coffee shops and wineries around the Bay Area.
Before relocating, I often felt uncertain about my future career and life path. But through conversations with many people and hearing their stories of trial and error, I gradually began to discover what worked for me. I came to realize that connection with others can give us the courage to move forward.
After arriving in the U.S., I learned about JWIBA and was deeply inspired by the mission and warmth of its community. I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
This year, as a project manager and event coordinator at JWIBA, I hope to help create a space where people can find encouragement, meet kindred spirits, and take that next step forward with confidence. I’ll be putting my heart into every effort to make that happen.
